Best Trekking Guides in Nepal 2015 Everest

Everest Base camp Guide / Everest Base Camp Trekking - Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

We went on the Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Vision in January 2015. We had a fantastic time and would recommend Nepal Vision to anyone who wants to do this. Prior to the trip we were impressed with the information and advice we were given by email. When we arrived at Kathmandu we were met by our guide, Sanjib , who throughout our time in Nepal was extremely helpful and ensured that we enjoyed the trip and looked after all our needs. The trek itself was an amazing experience, and although we both suffered to some extent from the effects of altitude, we made it to the Base Camp. We would like to especially thank sanjib and Hariram for providing such a great experience, and would recommend Nepal Planet Treks  to anyone.
Our trek was in early January and the weather was generally sunny with a few overcast days and one overnight snowfall. The temperature was pleasant for walking in the daytime, but it was extremely cold when the sun went down. The food was basic and the menus were generally the same in all the accommodations, however we had no complaints and all our food was included in the price of the trip which made it very easy and great value for money.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

Poon Hill is a must for any trekker staying in Ghorepani it called to as Deurali to  . It is a short 45 minute, moderate steepness hike to the top of the hill (~350 meters?)Poon Hill 3,210m  and provides panoramic views of the entire Annapurna range. This cannot be skipped, it is so spectacular. I recommend going at sunrise, as is tradition, before the clouds rise. It is very cold, so bundle up and bring a flashlight. The entry fee is 50 rupees and there are many delicious hot drinks for sale at the top, so bring some extra cash. And of course, bring a camera if you so choose! after that back to hotel eat a breakfast trek to Ghandruk or if you have not long time back to pokhara same days but it take a 7 hr walk and 1 and half back to pokhara by bus or taxi

Everest Base camp Guide / Everest Base Camp Trekking - Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

Visited the Everest Basecamp (altitude abt. 5,200m) on October 27rd. The weather was great and the view
of the North face of the mountain as well as surrounding mountains was
fantastic. Stayed at the Base camp and Rombuk monastery area for more than 3
hours. There were not many tourists except smaller groups from Brazil and
Japan.

This
visit is the highlight of any Tibet trip. What else can one say: Lasting
memories for a lifetime?

Thank you so much Nepal

Everest base camp Trek Guides
Everest has always been the desirable name among all the people around the world, mostly the adventure lovers. To reach at an altitude of 8,848m is not an easy task, it requires a lot of hard effort and dedication. It can be the greatest achievement in one’s life, overcoming the fear of the harshness of the nature.Mount Everest is also known as Chomolungma which resembles the meaning as a mother earth     http://www.nepalguideinfo.com/ghorepani-poonhill-trek/

Everest Base Camp Trekking / Guide to Everest 2015/2016 | Nepal Guide Info

http://www.nepalguideinfo.com/everest-base-camp-trek/

We
did Everest base camp trek for 14 days after the two major earthquakes in
Nepal. Before the trek, I was thinking about to cancel my trek like any other
travelers, but the 50 % amount was already paid for our trek.

We also receive suggestions from the company
where we booked our trek (Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition). The owner of the
company, sanjib himself was always replying and very quickly responding to all
our emails and concerns. He assured us that 100 % amount will be refunded, if
incase we would have to cancel our trek due to the broken trails resulting from
the major earthquake. Our ticket was already booked and confirmed for Nepal and
we heard the media spreading the news that Everest trail and many other
trekking trails were fully destroyed. But that was NOT TRUE at all. We decided
ourselves to fly to Nepal and self check then decide for the trek during our
stay in Kathmandu.

Taking the suggestions of the company, we started
our trek at the beginning of June. Guide sanjib from Nepal Planet treks was
extremely helpful throughout the journey. We hardly met 25 trekkers in our
whole 14 days trek.

The camp 'Phiriche' was affected and many tea
houses were damaged. Even in Namche and Lukla, few tea houses were damaged in
every camp. I met two trekkers on the way and they repeated to us that (second
time to the Everest Base camp) they found all the trekking trails exactly the
same as before and not even a single damaged was noted anywhere. We finished
our trek successfully without any problem but many hoteliers and people from
Khumbu were worried because the rest of the world was thinking that the trail
of The Everest Base camp is destroyed. NOT TRUE. AS WE DID THE TREK BY OURSELF
AND SAY IT IS SAFE AS BEFORE.

Thank you Sanjib and the team of Nepal Planet
Treks and Expedition for helping us make our dreams come true even in such a
critical situation. We will be back gain and join your company for the next
trek. See you soon.

Everest Base camp Guide / Everest Base Camp Trekking - Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

Everest Base camp Guide / Everest Base Camp Trekking - Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

ITINERARY for EVEREST BASE CAMP and/or KALA PATTHAR TREK 2016/2017
In many ways the ultimate trek ! It begins with the flight to Lukla, great mountain views (and heart-stopping approach and landing !). The trek itself will take you through a range of magical landscapes, interesting villages, monasteries at Monjo, Namche, Tengboche and Pangboche, and ultimately to the midst of soaring peaks, with stunning views of Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Nuptse, and Everest itself.
It's a moderately strenuous trip. Day 2 includes the gruelling 600 metre climb out of the valley to reach Namche, day 4 has a similar ascent to Tengboche. Further north there are several shorter ascents, but they are made more strenuous by the effects of altitude. There are also though stretches of far more gentle terrain, and because of the need to acclimatise steadily the daily walking distances are not great. Ultimately you'll reach 5500 metres - pretty high ! If  taken steadily, and allowing the recommended days for acclimatisation, most trekkers will find that they can reach their goal without undue problems.
There's plenty of accommodation, including a number of quite sophisticated lodges. Again obviously the degree of sophistication tends to lessen as you gain height, but even at Gorak Shep twin-bed rooms are the norm.
The itinerary below can be used as a tea-house trek. If you're prepared, you can reach the summit of Kala Pattar quite comfortably (though  didn't go up to EBC - if you have to make the choice, probably Kala Pattar, with it's incredible view of Everest, is more rewarding than the crowded glacier of EBC) It was done comfortably as a group of 5 ageing trekkers (and  a 68 year old was first to the summit of Kala Pattar)
Day 1: Fly out to Lukla early in the morning. Trek to Phakding
Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazar
Day 3: Rest / acclimatisation day in and around Namche
Day 4: Trek to Deboche (30 minutes beyond Tengboche)
Day 5: Trek to Dingboche (Dingboche seems an easier route up than going via Pheriche, and it’s a more pleasant spot for Day 6 rest / acclimatisation day: there’s a pleasant short day excursion eastwards towards Island Peak)
Day 6: Rest / acclimatisation day around Dingboche
Day 7: Trek to Lobuche (or Gorak Shep if you are feeling fit)
Day 8: Trek to Gorak Shep. Ascend Kala Pattar, back to Gorak Shep
Day 9: To Everest Base Camp. Back to Gorak Shep (or Lobuche) (Actually didn't do this day, mainly because of dislike of crowded, festering patches of glacial moraine, so avoided Base Camp. The actual trek was therefore a day shorter as the descent began on day 9)
Day 10: Trek via Pheriche to Pangboche
Day 11: Trek towards Namche (either to Namche or to Kyanjuma, 1 hour short of Namche, or to Kyanjuma then 30 minutes up to Khumjung)
Day 12: Trek via Namche to Monjo, Ghat, or Phakding (depending on how well you are going !)
Day 13: Trek to Lukla
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu
(Originally planned as 14 day itinerary, but with a spare day built in. Originally descending from Lobuche to Tengboche, then to Monjo, thence to Lukla. The spare day was used it to make this more leisurely descent)
There is also another trail connecting Namche to Tengboche besides the normal Tengboche route 98% of trekkers use. This High Trail follows the west side of the valley and connects the villages of Phortse and Pangboche. It actually offers better views than the standard Tengboche route. Between Namche and Phortse the trail climbs to the high ridge of Mong La with couple of spectacularly situated lodges. Hiking to or returning from EBC using this variation is highly recommended. Going up and down the same route shows lack of imagination   http://www.nepalguideinfo.com/everest-base-camp-trek/

Annapurna Round Trekking / Annapurna Circuit Trek -Winter and Spring 2016 | Nepal Guide Info

Annapurna Circuit Trek -Winter and Spring 2016 -19 Days High Pass adventures Nepal

Annapurna round trekking 2015
The Annapurna Circuit is a popular name for a trek within the Annapurna mountain range of central himalaya of Nepal . The total length of the route varies between 160–230 km (100-145 mi), depending on where the motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended. The trek rises to an altitude of 5,400m on the Thorung La pass, touching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. This trek crosses two different river valleys and encircles the Annapurna massif, crossing Thorung La (5416 m), the highest pass on this trek. Practically all trekkers hike the route counter clockwise, as then the daily altitude gain is slower and crossing the high Thorong La pass is easier and safe  for  trekking  but Winter  it be riske some time because snowing  http://www.nepalguideinfo.com

Gokyo Valley Trek 2016/ Gokyo Valley Tea House Trekking | Nepal Guide Info

I
have recently arrived back from a trek to Gokyo Peak (5380m). The trip was absolutely
amazing and everyday you would see something new that took your breath away:
may that be the wildlife, the valleys or the great mountains all around you.
The trip was one that will live long in the memory and i will treasure both
photos and memories.

The company i went with is called Nepal Planet
Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd.(sanjibtrekguide@gmail.com,

www.nepalplanettreks.com) and i would highly recommend
anyone going Trekking around the Himalayas to go with them. Sanjib (head of
Nepal Planet Treks) sorted everything (trekking permits, flights, porters) out
before we arrived in Nepal and it was such a weight off our shoulders. This
also saved us a lot of money than going through a company in England. Sanjib
himself is a great guy, his English is great and he is a wonderful person to
have on your trek.

To all considering going trekking:

5 of 5 starsHaving done treks all over
the world, I finally added the Annapurna Circuit to my list. The scenery is
spectacular as you hike from village to village (even after the earthquake).
The people are the friendliest on earth. And the views of the highest mountains
on earth are breathtaking. My guide and porter, Sanjib , with Nepal Planet
Treks and Expedition, was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Despite record
snow on the pass, he safely guided not only me, but others across and to the
next village. After crossing Thorong La (high pass), I suffered issues with one
of my eyes. Sanjib not only got me quickly an safely back to Kathmandu, but
also helped me traverse the Nepali health care system. I highly recommend him,
and all the staff at Nepal Planet Treks & Expeditions. If you are planning
a trip to Nepal, definitely ask for him by name

Everest Base Camp Trekking / Guide to Everest 2015/2016 | Nepal Guide Info

Everest Base Camp Trekking / Guide to Everest 2015/2016 | Nepal Guide Info

We trekked with Sanjib Adhikari from Nepal Planet Day Tours from 15.4.2015 to 28.4.2015. On 4.25.2015, the massive earthquake struck while we were on our descent from Base Camp, in Namche.
Sanjib picked us up from the airport when our flight arrived 12.4.2015. He took us to our hostel, and visited us again the next morning, taking us to various places to get final provisions prior to our trek. His office is very nice and he served us tea.
He picked us up the morning of our flight to Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, we met our porter and we had breakfast. The cost of our trek was extraordinarily competitive and everything was included. The only thing I had to pay for was if I wanted something like a candy bar while trekking–and then only if it weren’t a scheduled meal or break. I honestly feel we had the best deal available for this trek in Nepal.
Sanjib commands a certain amount of respect from the Nepalese and other guides. He is very tall and in excellent shape. He seems known by everyone on the trail, from the teahouse owners to the other guides to airport personnel. It seemed as if he arranged everything in advance, getting us excellent lodgings in teahouses. Each of our dinners came with pomegranate seeds and tangerines–but no one else in the dining area had these. To this day, I don’t know where Sanjib found this stuff.
My travel partner and I are 57 and 53 years old respectively. Sanjib did not push us to make our miles in any amount of time. It was a leisurely pace, although still very difficult. He explained many of the sites and cultures. He knew everything it seemed. His English was good enough where we had absolutely no problems with communication.
Sanjib has an excellent sense of humor, and even with the extreme difficulty, I found something to laugh about daily. On the day from Tengboche to Lobuche, I ended up very ill. I couldn’t even carry my pack. I would say this is one of the sickest I’ve ever been. When we reached Lobuche, I immediately laid down under two sleeping bags and two huge wool blankets. I could not get warm. I had no appetite.
Shortly after, Sanjib appeared with a bowl of porridge and cup of tea. He very calmly but sternly explained that it was necessary I choke this down if I had to. He left. I choked it down, and within 1/2 an hour, my strength began returning and I started tow arm up. The next day I woke up about 80% of my usual strength, able to continue on to Gorekshep. It wasn’t until later I found out we were headed out in a helicopter the next morning if I woke up in the same condition.
On our descent, while in Namche, the earthquake struck. This isn’t a review of the earthquake, so I’ll say no more about that event. Sanjib decided, along with my travel partner (I was overruled) to head out the next morning to Phak Ding. The trek to Phak Ding was treacherous, with earth clearly waiting to slide off the mountain. We reached a landslide area that destroyed the trail, so we had a vertical climb up and around this landslide.
The ground we had to climb was very loose and I was fearful it would not hold our weight. Sanjib made steps with his feet, after taking my pack, and assisted me with getting to the top. I was fearful, knowing I left a kid back at home.
A half hour after we got off the trail, a 6.9 aftershock occurred. Sanjib had insisted we be off the trail by noon because of “tales” of another earthquake. I told him that was superstition and he should not worry. He said ok, but we need to hurry up and get off the trail. The 6.9 aftershock occurred 12:30.
Upon arrival in Lukla, so many people were waiting to get out of the airport and back to Kathmandu. Our flight was cancelled, so we were now at the end of the line of hundreds of trekkers trying to get out. We were looking at that time at a good one week delay. Somehow, and he has not told me how this happened, he got us on the first flight out on the day after we were scheduled to leave.
People who trekked the same time as us were stranded for up to two weeks. We were delayed one day. You tell me what kind of pull Sanjib had, to get us out of Lukla only one day later.
When we arrived in Kathmandu, our hostel was closed because of damage. Sanjib found us a very good high rise hotel at a very reasonable cost who took us in. He visited us everyday until we left.
I owe this guide my sincere thanks for the best trek we’ve ever taken–and we are world trekkers–and for in all likelihood, saving our lives.
I cannot wait to again visit Nepal and visit Sanjib Adhikari.

Annapurna Circuit Trekking / Annapurna Round Trekking 2016 | Nepal Guide Info   I did

but still the nature is phenomenal and in the off season its really not
crowded, in June the weather is still great. I did the tour with a great

professional and care a lot about their customers. They can provide you nearly
everything and the prices are really reasonable, especially compared to other
trekking agencies. Everyone I met was really friendly and welcoming and I
always had a good feeling travelling with Nepal Planet Treks. I did the

point I can just give a strong recommendation. Thank u so much Sanjib

Everest Base Camp Trekking / Guide to Everest 2015/2016 | Nepal Guide Info

n January this year my wife and I visited Nepal. We made contact with Sanjib eight months prior as a result of other peoples recommendations from different travel blogs.
Sanjib met us at the airport on arrival, took us to our hotel (which he had booked for us) and helped us settle in by showing us around the area.
We did a 7 day trek with Sanjib. Throughout that time Sanjib was always professional ,informative and always had our safety as a priority. Everything was well organised.
Nepal Planet Treks (Sanjib) was also extremely helpful in arranging other tours for us at a good price.
A couple of months ago I returned to Nepal by myself to do some volunteer work. It was quite overwhelming for me to travel by myself being a single female. He made contact with me and made me feel welcome again in Nepal.
I became extremely ill due to pre existing health issues. Sanjib came to help me in hospital and also took me to specialist appointments. He checked on me everyday and brought food to me. Sanjib was amazing and myself and my husband are very grateful for all his help and support. We plan to go back to Nepal early next year with our two teenagers and look forward to seeing Sanjib again. The people you hire not only are your guides in Nepal they become your friend. A friend we are glade to have

Thanks to the excellent
services of Sanjib adhikari and our friendly and helpful Porter-Guide Moon Adhikari
we had an unforgettable experience of the high Himalaya.

We had the liberty of changing and adapting our program according to the
weather conditions and our progress.

We encountered a problem at closing of Lukla airport, and had to buy additional
tickets not to be stuck there for 26 hours (24 only :-). The team of Sanjib helped
us get our money back from airline Sita Air who were not cooperative and tried
to deny our refund... but in the end it was solved.

"Our personal experience with Adventure treks Nepal was excellent. Our trip was very well planned in every single detail. Our personal guide Sanjib adhikari is an extremely reliable, professional and very nice person. He's an excellent and experienced guide. In Kathmandu he guided us around the most important historical sites telling us everything about the religious monuments and places. He's really well prepared and organized during the tours.
